Civil and Human Rights PDF Print E-mail

JCRB|AJC works with other organizations, minority groups, and faiths to build bridges and develop mutual understandings. We believe that relationships are essential for maintaining human rights.

We organize joint efforts with minority communities and other civil rights groups in response to injustice and discrimination. We plan programs with other minority communities, including Martin Luther King Jr. events each year. During many years, we hold a freedom Seder for members of the Black and Jewish communities.

In 2009, the JCRB|AJC premiered our DVD “Pursuing Justice Standing Together,” which outlines the history of Black and Jewish communities working together for civil rights in Kansas City.
